	坦桑尼亞的咖啡豆形漿果咖啡的出產量很大，而且據說比普通的咖啡更香濃。大體上說，坦桑尼亞的咖啡豆具有不同凡響的品質。例如在臨近乞力馬紮羅(Kilimanjaro)山的莫希(Moshi)區出產的上乘坦桑尼亞查格AA級咖啡(ChaggaAA)，便以其顆粒飽滿，芳香四溢的品質而聞名。</p>

	坦桑尼亞(Tanzania)的咖啡出口在整個國民經濟中佔有重要地位。</p>
<p>
	過去，坦桑尼亞咖啡業一直是莊園種植占主導地位，而現在85%以上是由小耕農種植。許多小耕農組成合作組織，其中最重要的合作組織是乞力馬紮羅合作聯盟(KilimanjaroCooperativeUnion，簡稱KNCU)。坦桑尼亞咖啡以拍賣的形式由坦桑尼亞咖啡經營委員會(TanzanianCoffeeMarketingBoard，簡稱TCMB)出售給私人出口商。在80年代，坦桑尼亞的大部分咖啡銷售從拍賣的形式轉爲直接出售給坦桑尼亞咖啡經營委員會。</p>

	現在這種情況已有所改變，咖啡業正在改革，以便將來允許個人或團體購買咖啡，到時候咖啡還要按不同的方式區分等級，以便吸引來自德國、芬蘭、荷蘭、比利時和日本的購買者。</p>
