市場上有兩個<a href="https://www.gafei.com/yinnimantening/20170521102329.html" style="line-height: 22px;">蘇門答臘曼特寧</a>系統,蘇北省的多巴湖高地,於1888年開始種阿拉比卡,而亞奇塔瓦胡周邊的蓋優高地更爲偏遠,交通不便,直到1913年塔肯貢通往比瑞恩的道路打通後,1924年纔開始種咖啡。若以栽種縣後來論輩分,多巴湖是“老曼”,而塔瓦湖是“小曼”。若以產量來論,2009年亞奇的“小曼”出口量達4.5萬噸,堪稱老大;反觀蘇北省的“老曼”只有三萬多噸,只能委屈做小弟了。近年,亞奇的曼特寧產量已凌駕傳統的多巴湖。</div>

塔瓦湖位於蘇門答臘亞齊省(Aceh)北方的迦佑(Gayo)山區,溼熱的熱帶雨林氣候雨量充沛,又有肥沃的火山土壤。種植咖啡本具有得天獨厚的優勢,但因地處偏僻交通不便,直到1924年纔開始有咖啡栽植。</div>

習慣上,我們會把產於蘇門答臘的咖啡豆都統稱爲曼特寧,但其實這並不準確。事實上,我們口中所說的的曼特寧一般指產於蘇門答臘中北部託巴湖周遭、西南海拔900-1200米的林東山區,以巴塔克作爲主要產出主幹的咖啡。如果兩個產區的豆子都試過的童鞋就可以明顯感受到託巴湖和塔瓦湖這兩大湖區的咖啡豆是不大一樣的。果酸柔和,略顯悶香,口感厚實黏稠,帶有迷人奶油香氣兼苦香調。</div>
